This really opened me eyes about credit cards. I have to agree that getting a credit card as a student may help because it will help people build their credit faster.

Credit cards are great to teach the value of money, only spend what you know you can pay, and to build credit. These days you need credit cards for many major purchases.

HAVING A CREDIT CARD TODAY IS VERY ESSENTIAL IN ORDER TO MAKE CREDIT, AND FOR STUDENTS TO HAVE ONE COULD BE VERY HELPFUL WHEN IT COMES TO PAYING FOR SCHOOL, ALSO FOR BUYING A HOUSE, OR A CAR.

I think I’ll just do what my dad does, he just never spends more than he can pay, and he also pays his credit card bill every month so that there is no interest. Seems pretty simple… but then, I’ve never had one so =]
