I completely agree. Haha…I think my SAT score were worthless I did fine and they didn’t mean a thing in the end. However my credit score will be the difference of me being able to someday by a house or an apartment on my own someday. So why don’t they tell us this stuff in school? They have SAT prep classes but no credit or finace classes, how lame.

Yeah, I see how that is important, but I think the SAT would be more important then the FICO because if you have passed all your classes, then you have all the credits that you need, and on every college application it says SAT/ACT score, not FICO score, so since I wan’t college, I believe that the SAT is more important

I had not thought of that but is a great way to help your child (or yourself) build your credit FICO. ‘Cause without it – it will be very hard to buy a car, a house, etc. – unless you are rich & pay cash!!!
Or do like me – use one credit card, charge groceries, etc. – keep your receipts so you know how much you owe THEN pay off monthely – no interest fees!

Yeah I definitely would make sure to keep a good credit history, it’s extremly important.
