I really want independence and without a good credit score that simply won’t be possible. Thanks so much for the tips, they will really come in handy in the next few months when I’ll be on my own. =)

My bank wouldn’t even allow me to apply for a credit card. So i always thought it meant I didn’t need one, as if it was a bad thing. Reading this gives me a new perspective on credit!!!!

Makes a lot of sense. Longevity counts more than amount of actual credit balance.

it is very important to increase your credit score and what better time to do it than while you are in school. After getting out of school is when you need a good credit score and profile the most.
