Still haven’t saved because I splurge on the oddest things

Posted in Student Savings Tips by Little Miss Platinum

And that’s the truth of the matter. I could always just put the $2.00 I had set aside into the ING account, but no, my vanity got in the way and I bought a bar of soap because I was out and I simply let my ego get in the way of my savings mission.  *sigh.* On the other hand, who the heck would want to get NEAR me after I go jogging?  So I will rationalize this splurge as a public service, and see if I can’t find more cans to recycle…although I’m running low on this “shampoo” stuff, too.

Personal hygiene is acceptable although in 5 years the $2 in your savings account would have been been more valuable and your odor long forgotten!

Have we discussed budgeting with you guys?

Oh good lord! And I just opened the package of soap too!
No give backs or returns… *sniff* On the other hand, in 5 years, I would have been a population hazard and the odor would have killed every man, woman, child, and cockroach in a 70 mile radius.

In 5 years of not bathing I’m afraid I would be considered an environmental hazard and shot into space. Then where would I be? Besides taking nothing but distance learning and online classes?

Why don’t you try obtaining free samples of shampoo from the internet? Actually, you can find free samples of a lot of things on the internet. Start with instoresnow.walmart.com and google your way from there…
